Cross-border healthcare project epSOS – Provision of ePatient Summary and ePrescription services for European people

empirica compliments the epSOS project and its 25 participating European countries on the successful conclusion and continued policy impact. Throughout the project, empirica staff have been part of the Project Management Team, and have contributed their expertise in project proposal development and writing, strategic and policy perspective, as well as in contractual and administrative matters such as preparing amendments and project reviews and financial reporting.

A new study starts in July 2014: Evaluative Study on the Cross-border Healthcare Directive The European Union Cross-Border Healthcare Directive of 2011 established rules for facilitating the access to high-quality healthcare within the European Union while respecting the freedom of each Member State to decide on what type of healthcare it provides including decisions about the basket of healthcare to which citizens are entitled and the mechanisms to organize, finance and deliver it.
