empirica carries out pilot and market validation projects, supports the market roll-out of newly developed services, performs European project management, market analysis work, and offers strategic and implementation-oriented political and management consulting and system implementation support. This includes:
empirica has many years of experience as a coordinator of major research and implementation projects, some of them unique in the world, and many of them partly subsidised by the research programmes of the European Union (Framework Programmes, eTEN-Programme).
Empirica has been and continuous to be active in the design, implementation and evaluation of independent living services pilot projects and trials and the development, validation, revision and extension of business plans necessary for introducing such services into the market on a commercial basis.
This know-how can be made available for the development, implementation and monitoring of pilot and market validation projects of different types in this area.
Against the background of our solid experience from many pilot projects and on the basis of both qualitative policy analyses and representative empirical data, we develop strategic concepts, policy recommendations and definitive courses of action for those involved in (social care and health) policy-making, those involved in the social care services provision, health system development and lobbyists.
The organisation of forums of experts and subject-based working groups, conceptual development, realisation and/or moderation of workshops and conferences are part of empirica's standard activities.
