The book "Work and Family in the eWork Era" is a joint publication of the FAMILIES consortium of partners. It summarises the main results from the IST project FAMILIES "Families, Work and IST: A study of the interactions between family trends and new work methods in the information society". FAMILIES has analysed the interdependencies between new ways of working and family life. The book includes approx. 100 case studies which were carried out in families with so-called eWorkers in four countries (Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy).
