eHealth in Action - Report on eHealth good practice in Europe now available for download
The three-year Good eHealth project is proud to present a collection of good practice case stud-ies from 30 European countries. Validated information on these cases was collected until the end of 2008 and is now made broadly available not only through the “Good Practice Knowledge Base”, but also in this new report published by the Euro-pean Commission. It highlights inspiring examples all over Europe, some of which are already looking back on nearly a decade of sustained implementation. By sharing lessons learned and information on proven benefits, the study hopes, as noted by Gerard Comyn, Head of the EC ICT-for-Health Unit, to “foster the accelerated usage of eHealth applications for the benefit of European and global citizens.” The project was commissioned to Deloitte Belgium and empirica by the ICT for Health Unit of the European Commission’s Directorate General Information Society and Media.
