3rd European Silver Economy Conference in Andaluci

The Department of Equality and Social Welfare of the Junta de Andalucía (Regional Government of Andalusia) will organise the 3rd SEN@ER (Silver Economy Network of European Regions) Conference in the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos in Seville/Spain on the 15th and 16th of November 2007.

The conference will be attended by more than 500 specialists and will deal with strategies and actions to improve the wellbeing of the elderly.
The aim of the conference, which has previously been held in Bonn and Maastricht, is to promote cooperation between institutions and companies. In this way new products and new services delivered to the elderly may be developed, making them more independent and improving their quality of life. The different themes of the conference will centre upon the following: new technologies and an independent life, tourism and culture, nutrition and financial services.

The aim of the forum, in which 16 European regions are participating, is to analyse how the population is ageing and how this may be used as an opportunity for economic growth and competitiveness.
The conference website will open soon. We will keep you updated about this conference on a regular basis.
